SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (F/M/D)
You will develop and improve the future of our diagnostic solutions which are used for maintaining and repairing premium vehicles around the globe. In a joined team of diagnostic and software specialist together with our customer you will create new diagnostic concepts and applications with a strong focus on user satisfaction and service efficiency. You will be embedded in a team of diagnostic experts at our customer and remote connected with our software development team. You will understand the world of diagnostic, identify potential for improvements and develop new diagnostic procedures, functions and features together with us and our customer. The objective is to bridge knowledge between the vehicle diagnostic domain and software craftsmanship. Your task will be to build proper software solutions to create outstanding and innovative experiences in vehicle diagnostics.
Your head start:
Your start at AVL DiTEST begins with an intensive training in our development center in Germany. Scrum Boot camps, pair programming and vehicle diagnostic sessions with our experts will give you the necessary toolbox. User-Story refinement, customer oriented thinking and code quality will be the building blocks of your training phase. Afterwards you will join our established development squad and have a well-prepared entry in your mission in the UK.

- Strong background in Computer Science n Strong communication skills — in person and on Skype/ WebEx
- Motivated in working with different skills and cultures
- Basic knowledge or interest in agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Fun working with fascinating vehicles n A maximum of 30% of travelling time (between UK and Germany)
- Fluent English - basics in German is a plus.
