Fast, straightforward, and intuitive - the new update for AVL DiTEST diagnostics devices

The experts at AVL DiTEST released a new update for XDS 1000 multi-brand diagnostic devices at the start of March. It is now available for all device users to download and update their diagnostics systems. This latest update focuses on vehicles from Ford and the VW group, particularly recent models from the brands Audi and VW with construction year 2017.

New functions have been added to the diagnostics software in XDS 1000 for eight of the best sellers from the VAG range of models, specifically the Audi A3, Q2 and TT models as well as the Arteon, Passat, Polo 6, T-Roc and the VW Transporter T6. For these models, electronics systems for airbags, brakes, transmission, air conditioning and engines are affected. The update includes a feature for reading and resetting error codes for all systems. Furthermore, the update also provides additional measurement values for the aforementioned systems which are essential for rapid diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Furthermore, the Update 2021-01 offers particularly extensive improvements for all relevant Ford models. There is updated information available for a total of 39 electronics systems. From the airbag to the transmission through to the central electronics, workshops can now read and delete error codes in the systems with the newly updated XDS 1000. AVL DiTEST's diagnostics experts focussed particularly on engine control units.
