Fast, straightforward, intuitive – The new update for AVL DiTEST diagnostics devices

In version 2020-01, AVL DiTEST now has a new update available for the multi-brand diagnostics system XDS 1000. The new software version once again gives users a particularly wide range of updates for various features for cars, light commercial vehicles, HGVs and trailers.

One key focus of the spring update relates to electronic information for working on driver assistance systems. The need for this information has increased dramatically in recent months. In addition to extensive feature updates for working on driver assistance systems on Mercedes-Benz, Dacia and Renault models, the developers have also added classic functions for engine management for Opel and Vauxhall vehicles. Diagnostic data for HGVs and trailers has also grown significantly with the new update.

The advantages of the latest version of the software at a glance:

• Extended features for driver assistance systems of Mercedes Benz. This includes reading out and clearing error codes for the brake assist and displaying measurement readings.
  
• Diagnosis and processing of error codes on the headlight electronics, radar sensors or comfort systems, such as climate control electronics.
• Wide range of models covered from cars to light trucks through to HGVs: 75 manufacturers 1164 different models of cars, light commercial vehicles, HGVs and trailers.
• Additional features for light commercial vehicles, HGVs and trailers. New: The data on the Wabco E systems.
